You've Entered My World. Welcome!

Alina Yates escaped the bone-chilling winters in Michigan to venture off to exceedingly high temperatures and countless sunny days in Texas. She has lived in Texas for more than 15 years. Alina Yates just recently left her love for accounting to bravely pursue her lifelong passion of being a full-time writer and run a creative design business.

At the tender age of 11, Alina Yates wrote her first novel, “Dealing with Drugs.” Although, at the time, she had not realized the depths of her adventurous mind. A challenging childhood brought truth to her mysteries as many of her stories are based on true events with twisted spins woven inside to make it a thrilling read. It was inevitable that Alina Yates would soon write her first non-fiction, “Through the Eyes of a Mother.”

ME

“I am really sort-of a geek where the computer is my best friend. I consider myself a prolific creator, which is similar to prolific writers and that they can produce a large number of works in a short time. I can write a novel in less than a month, create a magazine layout with the cover in less than a week, and complete a website in a weekend. But this is not normal behavior – I have these moments of manic behavior, OCD, and I just have to finish, or I would not be able to sleep.

“Writing helps me keep my mental balance. Turning the dark harsh realities of the world into a seductive, psycho, deeply disturbed, yet heroic female serial killer story is my escape to another world. A world where every evil person (no matter the sin) get what they deserve is how I envisioned my novels. When I’m not writing novels, I write, design, and create business literature, corporate websites, personal drawings or sketches, and create one-of-a-kind pieces with fabric."
