the uncomfortable truth

is instilled in me,

so refined and thin

but surprisingly overwhelming.

marked from the depths of lies

and covered in a multitude of mistakes,

reconfigured to look real

when grasped, it is an image we cannot shake.

feeding off the juice of inflated stories,

stories we hide behind to cover the

secrets,

regrets,

guilt and manipulations,

all to prevent the reveal

of a truthful situation.

our pain

our path

is marked behind an imagination

of complex confusion

and internal disillusions.

a past of hidden secrets,

a past of hidden doubts,

peering through the darkness

with undimmed eyes and clearer thoughts.

we see visions

that were never revealed before,

a figure of beauty

came crashing through the front door.

a fearless power emerged within

realizing that TIME never stood still.

while you created this complex confusion,

the simplest solutions were never an illusion.

so, forgive your tough roads

and appreciate your path's design,

embrace the uncomfortable truth

for it is YOU, your journey DEFINED.
